For the past 16 years I have lived and worked in the nonprofit world. My career has spanned rural health care advocacy in Atlanta and Washington, DC, to speaking up about air quality issues at Environmental Protection Agency public comment sessions. Although I am not a gardener by any stretch of the imagination, in less than two years time I turned around an overlooked arboretum and circa 1852 home into a vibrant part of the Milledgeville community.
I care deeply about social and environment justice and strong communities. My approach to work is principled, innovative, inclusive, and results driven. Most recently I have served as a consulting Director of Mothers and Others for Clean Air and Executive Director of Thanks Mom & Dad Fund®, both located in Atlanta.
My life now straddles Atlanta and rural Middle Georgia. My strengths include organizational strategy and assessment, project management, communication, and interim leadership. Ask me how I can make your organization or small company stronger.
