Decades ago my mother-in-law taught me her trick for storing multiples: the upside container means another one is already open.

Jo’s memory is upside down and sideways now, but her keen idea is straight up.

  1. PS Something Jo told me many years ago when Anna & Morgan were toddelrs: “Though the days be long, the years be short!” It was tremendously helpful and accurate.

  2. Very clever & I am not surprised it was a ‘Jo suggestion.’ She’ll not remember me but I certainly will never forget her or Frank.

  3. Also, that’s the best way to store natural peanut butter so that you don’t have all the oil at the top when you open the jar.
